The first “Flooring Summit 360°” successfully held in Aarau

On March 26, 2026, the first “Flooring Summit 360°” took place at the AHA-Aeschbachhalle in Aarau. In close collaboration with our valued partners – Floor Trade AG, Waklo GmbH, Coretec Floors, and Stucky Holzprofilleisten AG – this special event was successfully realized.

The event aimed to create an exclusive platform for existing customers. The focus was on personal exchange, maintaining business relationships, and establishing new connections. In addition, the summit provided an opportunity to discuss current developments, needs, and trends within the industry.

The pleasant atmosphere enabled an intensive and valuable dialogue among all participants and contributed significantly to the success of the event.

New safety bar for RT-2000

The head package of the RT-2000 foor milling machine features a very welcome new feature.

1. A rubber buffer intermediate piece (segment) fitted between the lower section of the machine and the height-adjustable 2-hand guide handle guarantees a noticeable reduction in vibration intensity. This makes the floor milling machine very user-friendly to operate.

2. The machine is started by: a) lifting the milling drum b) pressing the button on themain switch.
At the same time, it is necessary to press the lower switching bar of the 2-hand guide handle to release force and current via the main switch.
Only constant pressing down guarantees proper machine operation or milling operation.
Releasing the switching bar causes an immediate and controlled interruption to operation. Such an interruption is necessary in the event of danger, accidents or technical changes during use.
This safety process – ON and OFF – controls the locking unit mounted in the guide handle with contact to the main switch. A restart is carried out by pressing a button as mentioned.

3. The depth adjustment ensures that the intended use, i.e. depth or floor removal
according to the thickness, produces the best results to the full satisfaction of the
customer

Anniversary of a long-standing trade association member company

Airtec AG was founded in Tenniken in 1974. In the early years, the company produced primarily pneumatic tools, needle guns and hand sanders. But the range quickly expanded with the addition of milling and grinding machines for soil cultivation. The main areas of application for the machines are: processing and cleaning of concrete and asphalt surfaces; milling off paint and markings; profiling of smooth concrete floors; removal of material from stone and concrete floors; removal of adhesives, foam, felt and other residues.  

Airtec AG machines can now be found all over the world. The company is domiciled in Zunzgen and has a workforce of 18 people

The company has a hire centre, where private individuals and craft businesses can hire equipment and small machines. The range includes floor sanding and buffing machines, hand tools with diamond grinding discs, carpet strippers and industrial vacuum cleaners.
